Interac Email Transfer

Use of this option allows an electronic transfer from any participating bank to Equip to Serve by email sent to info@equiptoserve.ca. It requires the sender’s bank account to be set up for such transfers. Use of this option is very secure as no banking information is exchanged; e-mail only is the transfer mechanism from the remitting bank customer to the receiving bank customer.

Use of this option requires a security question and answer to be established between the sender and the receiver. For security reasons this should be done by separate email sent to info@equiptoserve.ca. Be sure to include your mailing address (for tax receipt purposes) and advise if your donation is to be applied to a specific fundraising need or general fund.

General Expenses

Photocopies, extra luggage costs, shipping costs, teaching supplies, instrument supplies (guitar strings, reeds, etc.)
2018 SUMMER MUSIC CAMP SPONSORSHIP ($40 per music camper)
Theory workbooks, instrument instruction books, daily hot lunches, beverages & transportation aid are provided for each person attending the 5-day music camp.
Instruments & Music Equipment
Requests for instruments are received throughout the year from churches and schools. We have a Instrument Gifting Program whereby individuals may “earn” an instrument after completing community volunteer service hours at the Holy Spirit Education/Clinic Centre in Maggotty.
Volunteer Expenses
Flight, accommodation, meals, etc.

Used Instruments

GIVE NEW LIFE & PURPOSE to your instruments & music books in rural areas of Jamaica.

GIVE SOMEONE IN NEED the opportunity to play a music instrument & learn to read music.

Owning a music instrument is beyond the reach of most in Jamaica where the average wage is $60 US per week. Donations of new/used music equipment & supplies are taken to Jamaica and given to individuals, churches and schools.

Instruments
All families of music instruments are needed particularly for schools (brass, strings, woodwinds & percussion).

Keyboards and guitars are very practical and needed for both churches and schools.

Volunteer

Teaching music in Jamaica is a unique opportunity to use one’s music skills. It’s a rewarding and wonderful experience to share with others the music knowledge and understanding with which we have been blessed.

Can you direct a choir?
Can you teach music theory?
Do you play keyboard, drums, bass guitar, acoustic guitar? Wind instruments? Brass?
